Do you enjoy listening to music whilst on the slopes? A good few of you will be probably be using Skullcandy headphones to listen to your music, have a read of this post by INC magazine, it is pretty interesting interview with Rick Alden who started the company and designed the original headphones.

I’m sure this is not exactly new, but it is the first time I have seen this trailer. It really highlights the cross over between board sports and shows what a great life you can have as a pro. Benji Weatherly has got together with all his mates to make what I guess is a lifestyle film. Basically he grabbed a bunch of professional athletes like Tony Hawk and JP Walker, and they took it turns showing each other their respective sports.

For the more adventurous and backcountry specialists amongst you have a look at this post. These two guys have decided to climb and ride 14 peaks that make up California’s Fourteeners. It has some excellent photos that really capture the extreme skiing and snowboarding taking place.

As we sit here in the Northern Hemisphere twiddling our thumbs, the Aussies are in a full-blown winter wonderland. This week has seen the return of Stylewars, Australia’s most notorious snowboarding event. Check out the footage here to see the silky smooth skills of Canadians Charles Reid and Matts Kulisek, and even a trademark front-flip from our very own Tyler Chorlton.

It’s always nice to see the Brits doing well and Zoe Gillings is certainly flying the flag high for British snowboarding. After a successful 2007/08 season she is now preparing for the upcoming season hoping to continue her rise up the rankings. Have a look at this video to hear what Zoe has to say.

We hope you enjoyed the round up, if you have anything you would like to comment on or think should be featured then get in touch and let us know.
