OK it’s not the real thing, but if you’re keen to get some practice in then why not pop down to London’s first ever indoor artificial twin ski slope? It’s at the O2 running from late November to January 09. You can even use a snow tube if skiing and snowboarding seem too taxing! The slopes are actually pretty big at 45 meters in length so you should be able to get some decent turns in. To book up visit their website.
If you want to improve your skiing, learning to be a ski instructor is a fantastic way to do it. See our 11-week ski instructor courses, or download a brochure here.
